WHO ARE WE?

Soutien Objectif Solidaires French In Texas (SOS French In Texas)

is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded on October 27th, 2020 by a group of French volunteers, within the framework of “local organizations for mutual aid and solidarity  / Organismes Locaux d’Entraide et de Solidarité (OLES)”, SOS French In Texas has a vocation to bring to French citizens living in Texas and Louisiana,

along with their immediate family and dependents,

a host of help and support of all kinds, such as:

• facilitate access to affordable medical/health care, and

other kinds of assistance, whether be psychosocial

(domestic violence, etc.), legal of financial
• provide assistance with administrative formalities

both in France and in the USA
• manage fundraisings and administrate the distribution of funds

as needs are identified within the French community.

The need for such an organization became vital,

notably following all the measures implemented for

the fight against SARS-CoV-2, a time during which a number of

fellow citizens experienced unimaginable distress,

with very limited access to any kind of help or resources.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need help or

if you would like to assist in any way.

The SOS French in Texas team.
